18th birthday

Hi Everyone, a card today for the Outlawz Sketch Challenge, in the middle of making this I realised my friends Granddaughter was 18 in a couple of days, so had to make a card and get it into the post. This sketch helped me do it.

I stamped - yep! stamped LOL, onto vellum and used glitter embossing powder to emboss it, cut it out with a die and coloured it with Promarkers. I cut the circle flower frame with my Cameo, embossed card stock then printed paper for the background and printed the sentiment. I hope she likes it.

stamp - magazine freebie
embossing powder - Papermania
vellum - Dovecraft
flower frame - Birds Cards
cross stitch embossed card - craft outlet
basket weave EF - Crafters Companion Texture EF
gold mirror card - Dovecraft
ribbon - stash

70 cut card

Hi Everyone, I've been so lazy making any cards, still too many ideas and wanting to do too many new things, making me slow down and do nothing instead. The sun has been a bad influence on me too, I have been spending time in the garden just pottering and telling hubby where to put the plants etc - I can't kneel down, well I can, BUT I can't get back up LOL.

Anyhow, I have made a card for my baby brother. Simple, because I had no idea what to do, perhaps I need pressure to do anything LOL. I had seen a sign by Janet Packer and I liked the sketch white pen effect, so I tried to do it myself. My brother was a professional photographer and still takes wonderful amazing photographs, hence the camera on the front.

I know I have said it before but, I LOVE my Cameo.
adapted card design - Shirleys Cards
black card - Dovecraft
silver card - stash
Uniball White Pen
insert camera (on a pop up) - Create With TLC

insert - simple, but plenty of room to write a message below the 70.

TTCRD challenge

Hi everyone there is new
Anything Goes challenge over at
sponsored by

the prize is 2 digital stamps

My card today is using the fabulous "Land Ho"  image, I thought it appropriate for hubby for Father's Day, (I know a little early for the UK, but at least then I won't forget) his Grandfather was Norwegian and the story goes that he got shipwrecked and was washed up on the East coast of Britain!  I don't know if it's true! but I thought I would do a play on the story and use this wonderful Viking image.

Cars!

My DT card today is for

Always a good masculine subject and it came in time for 2 male family members.
My first is for my GNephew living in Australia, I thought a couple of flags may remind him of home. Although he is now "nearly" an Aussie.
mini cooper car - Dr Digi
coloured and recoloured to get the colours of the cars in PS
the cars are cut with an outline by Cameo and 3D'd
map - Sheila Reid @ Pixelscrapper
flags off the web that I have in my file stash

This a card for my GNephew living in Belgium, because of postage costs I went simple and this is the result. (It's what I should have done above LOL.) His Dad works for a luxury car manufacturer and drives one of their cars too, so I thought he should dream a little!
car - copied from the web
with a "water colour" filter added in Photoshop,
I added the 20, his age
the background is a watercolour image - Janet Scott @ Pixelscrapper
 sentiment - TLC Creations
with added water colour filter in PS.
Go see what my Team mates have done - wish I was as clever!
